Please join me in congratulating Nita Powers, Chief Client Experience Officer on her retirement, which begins July 4th, 2024. We are grateful for all of Nita’s hard work, wisdom, and insights over the past three years.
Nita has enjoyed a fruitful career, started working for a small tech payments company specializing in breaking into mobile wireless point of sale market for the transportation industry including taxis and delivery services. This product management experience drew her into roles that continued to drive her payments fire including small business loyalty programs for a major financial institution, customer experience wireless POS project consulting for City of New York and pioneering in the early fast expansion of prepaid markets. This established a deep appreciation for user experience, leading her to join a growing a team in serving the special market segment of credit unions. After growing payment portfolios for two large credit unions, Nita joined Collabria as our Chief Client Experience Officer in 2021.

To navigate this period of transition and ensure we’re prepared for the many upcoming opportunities the next half of this year will bring, I am pleased to announce that Wanita Van Leeuwen will serve as our Interim Chief Client Experience Officer. Wanita started her career in the credit union system over 30 years ago, and since joining Collabria in 2021, she has quickly made an impression on our business due to her exceptional dedication, innovative thinking, and collaborative spirit. Her leadership during this time will be critical in helping us continue our momentum and ensuring that our partners remain at the cornerstone of everything we do.

Wanita Bio: Wanita started her career in the credit union system over 30 years ago at what is now Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union. When she left the credit union it was to shift her career to providing services to credit unions, which involved banking system services as well as time at Everlink on the debit processing side before joining Collabria in June of 2021 where she has worked alongside Nita on the Client Experience Team.
